The Lorraine Jackson Foundation is seeking nominations for our scholarship program. The amount of the scholarship is $1,000.00 and is renewable annually for a total of four years based on satisfactory progress towards a degree. The scholarship is to be used towards tuition and books.

The Lorraine Jackson Foundation has been serving students and the community since November 2005 as a chapter of Dollars for Scholars. A Dollars for Scholars chapter is organized to provide local students with financial aid and with personal encouragement and support to actively pursue higher levels of academic achievement

Each scholarship awarded by The Lorraine Jackson Foundation is matched by Dollars for Scholars.

In order for a student to be eligible for the scholarship, the applicant must meet the specific criteria. This criteria is outlined in the guidelines, which can be downloaded below.

The application and release must be submitted, to be considered for the Lorraine Jackson Foundation 2013 Scholarship.

The Foundation’s primary mission is to provide scholarships for secondary education for children who have lost a parent to breast cancer.
