Television Broadcast:

breastcancer.org is proud to partner with the Discovery Health network on a very special documentary. It originally aired Sunday, May 6th, and can still be viewed on the Discovery Channel website.

Here are the details:

Discovery and Ted Koppel documented the experiences of the cancer patient with Koppel on Discovery: Living with Cancer and live town hall event

The program featured a series of conversations between Ted Koppel and Koppel Group Executive Producer Leroy Sievers and seven-time Tour de France Champion Lance Armstrong, both cancer survivors, in a candid discussion about living with cancer. Koppel follows Sievers for 15 months as he dealt with diagnosis, treatment and the everyday grind of living with the disease.

Discovery then cut to a live town hall discussion throughout the program broadcast in order to expand the dialogue. This event was moderated by Koppel and  featured a panel of newsmakers, including Elizabeth Edwards, Armstrong and Sievers. Among those in attendance were patient representatives from breastcancer.org.

In conjunction with Koppel on Discovery: Living with Cancer, Discovery is giving all those touched by cancer the opportunity to express their personal experiences through artistic expression via the interactive Cancer Collage.
